My name is David Haney and I’m a remote User Experience, Product Designer based out of Cleveland Ohio. Welcome to my online portfolio of work. I am a creative professional with 20+ years of experience as a UX Designer, Creative Director, Product Designer, and Illustrator. My work spans the gamut of advertising art to B2B, B2C, & B2G digital solutions. From TV storyboards, paper and pencil, to enterprise-wide epic solutions.
I have experience working with agile teams to actively brainstorm, storyboard, and whiteboard concepts. I can create wireframes at varying levels of fidelity and enjoy prototyping with detailed interaction design and motion.
I care about the details and consider the design of affordances to be crucial in creating effective and intuitive experiences. I practice lean UX to provide a closed-loop process for defining and measuring value with a focus on qualitative efficiency. I enjoy empowering fellow employees to be active contributors in design and research. A champion of usability research and cross team participation in field study to create one goal, one unified vision and direction.

The native mobile app allows K12 school administrators to access the essential information necessary for making in-the-moment decisions about the students in their school even while away from their desk.
